But, I have been finishing several UFOs and have vowed not to just buy random fabrics, but the purchase must be for a specific project and I have to "shop" my closet first... So at least that has slowed down the influx of fabric. Now, embroidery thread is a whole different story... But at least now I have inventoried them so I know what I have so I don't go out and buy a spool of something that I already have three of in the cabinet... :^)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-189566863950479728.post-1942865616427040342012-05-29T11:19:29.966-07:002012-05-29T11:19:29.966-07:00Yes, fabric does breed. Ask me how I know!

Personally, I've taken the Winchester House approach to my fabric stash. I can't die until I've sewn it all, so plan to be around for a very, very, very long time.

That said, I agree completely on sewing "the good stuff" for oneself. After all, if we're not worth it, who is?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-189566863950479728.post-31738586058602316202012-05-29T09:58:02.293-07:002012-05-29T09:58:02.293-07:00Thanks for leaving this comment. I agree with every single word and I can relate. Can't wait to see what you are going to do with your "best" fabrics. Glad you came out of the closet...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
